Faced with a significant budget crisis and potential service cuts, in September 2007 the TTC launched a public campaign that included an online survey with the goal of identifying key concerns and building awareness and support for TTC services. Tailor Design was involved with developing the strategic messaging of the campaign and art-directing the look and feel of campaign materials, including a 2 page cover ad in Metro News, subway posters, banners and info cards.
The Canadian Centre for Pollution Prevention set out to publish a booklet for teenagers on the topic of sustainable consumption. Tailor Design was tasked with presenting complex issues in a format that would be relevant and engaging to a youth audience. The launch of the print and web-based booklet met with an overwhelming response: in the first 48 hours over 1000 copies were downloaded from the website and in the first 6 days over 5000 copies were downloaded.
Social Innovation Canada is a national online competition that brings to light the work of social innovators in Canada. Tailor Design generated a visual identity that expresses the themes of social interaction, collaboration and innovation. The brand was applied to a variety of materials, including a promotional postcard, website and a concept for a book that documents case studies of social innovators in Toronto.
Nestlé Purina publishes a quarterly newsletter for its employees. Tailor Design carried out a total rebrand and redesign of this newsletter, resulting in a more attractive, reader-friendly format that was more closely aligned with the company’s brand guidelines. In addition to redesigning the template, Tailor Design oversaw the design and layout of each newsletter over the course of two years.
