Who doesn’t judge a book by its cover? Visual identities reflect the public-facing profile of a business, but a good brand also reveals its owner’s essential nature and aspirations. Branding strategy and design are my specialties. I begin with the big idea and from there craft the various materials that come to be associated with the brand.

Toronto Terminals Railway

Toronto Terminals Railway is the operating railway responsible for trains throughout the Union Station Rail Corridor. Tailor Design rebranded this Toronto institution and applied the new brand platform to a variety of promotional communications pieces including a newly designed website, stationery, brochure and tradeshow booth.

New Paradigm

New Paradigm was an international think tank headed by Don Tapscott, a leading authority on business strategy and innovation. Tailor Design oversaw the comprehensive rebranding of this organization, starting with a new logo, to sub-brands, stationery, reports, and conference materials, including posters, signage and binders.

Listerine

Listerine’s Gingivitis Week educates Canadians on the negative effects of gingivitis and the importance of using Listerine as a preventative. This bilingual logo was designed to highlight Listerine’s role in building a healthy smile, and was used throughout the campaign on print, web and promotional items.

Social Innovation Canada

Social Innovation Canada is a national online competition that brings to light the work of social innovators in Canada. Tailor Design generated a visual identity that expresses the themes of social interaction, collaboration and innovation. The brand was applied to a variety of materials, including a promotional postcard, website and a concept for a book that documents case studies of social innovators in Toronto.
